Panasonic HX A100

  1. The exaggerated contrast emphasizes details in quiet recordings, but looks unnatural, Speed is there despite Stabi artifacts.
  2. The small camera head is fixed with the earballs, while the main unit is easily accessible to the upper arm.
  3. Anyone with a smartphone can get used to it quickly.
  4. Short battery life, long loading times and lack of image quality are indeed exclusion reasons for semi-professional users.
  5. The was over after 11 minutes, longer scenes were broken into several small Happchen.
  6. Whether you like the headset and the smartphone-oriented handling is just as much a matter of taste as with any other concept.
  7. Whether the concept has succeeded is certainly in the eye of the beholder.
  8. The handling of the camera we liked very much, the picture quality of our pre-production model was fine.
  9. With dimming light let? the differentiation in the shadows but significantly after, at the contrast edges showed ghosting.
  10. Dike not completely unknown Sanyo HX-WA Actioncam was completely revised and presented at the Boot 2013 in Dusseldorf.
  11. The concept is very simple and pairs the Full HD resolution with many stabilization elements and a included, comfortable earloop holder.
  12. Add to that the WLAN support and you are on the cutting edge of technology in the action area.
  13. Technical featuresThe cylindrical camera weighing just 30 grams is available in the metallic colors orange and black.
  14. The earbud holder covers the entire back of the head and is hung on both ears to ensure a secure fit.
  15. The strap at the back of the head can be adjusted in the size of the head shape.
  16. Optionally, however, also holders for the goggles, the backpack straps and the helmet are available, so that even more applications can be developed.
  17. Without underwater housing, the camera unit is protected against splashing water and can be used even under a maximum depth of 1.5 meters (snorkel use) up to 30 minutes under water – the purchase of said housing is more useful.
  18. The hermetic seal of the technology does not allow the penetration of dust and cleaning with water is then easy.
  19. As a lens you have opted for a bright optic, which records with a constant aperture of F2.5 and covers a viewing angle of 160 degrees.
  20. Thus, even in poor lighting conditions still good action videos are created that can provide plenty of detail and low noise.
  21. Electronic image stabilization is indispensable and the automatic level-shot function always justs the horizon straight.
  22. So that the comments of the wearer are clearly audible, the microphone is equipped with a Windgerauschunterdruckung.
  23. The ability to connect to a smartphone or tablet PC allows remote control of the camera function.
  24. This is useful because the recording unit is worn on the upper arm and not always a hand fei is to operate them.
  25. Bottom lineThe extent to which the Panasonic HX-A100 can prevail against the fierce competition of the expensive provider GoPro ultimately depends on the image quality, which still has to be proven in practice.
  26. The latter simplifies connection setup with the smartphone significantly.
  27. From the first glance it becomes clear that the HX-A100 is not necessarily the classic winter sports action cam.
